Track a Flight by Number, Route, Airport or Airline
Use the flight tracker above to check current flight status worldwide. Search by a specific flight number, compare a route, open an airport arrivals or departures board, browse an airline, or view aircraft on the live map.
Flight Number
Enter a flight number such as EK202, PK301, B6123 or AA100 to check the latest available status and timing information.
Route
Select departure and arrival airports to find flights operating between two airports for the chosen date.
Airport
Search an airport by city, name or IATA code, then switch between live arrivals and departures. Arrivals are selected by default.
Airline
Search an airline by name or code to view available flights and route information for that carrier.
Live Map
See available live aircraft positions on the map, including route and aircraft details when supplied by the data source.
How to Find and Track a Flight Number
A flight number normally combines an airline code with a numeric service number. If you know both, enter the complete code. If you only know the number, select the airline first and AirwayFinder can combine the airline code with your flight number before searching.
Example: Emirates EK202
Select Emirates or enter EK202 directly. The tracker can return the latest available route, scheduled times, estimated times, status and aircraft details.
Example: JetBlue B6
Search JetBlue by airline name or B6, then enter the numeric flight number. This is useful when you know the carrier but only have the service number.
Check Airport Arrivals, Departures and Flight Delays
Airport mode is built for travelers who want a current arrivals or departures board. Search by airport name, city or IATA code, choose Arrivals or Departures, and review the latest available flight status, delay, terminal and gate information.
Track Flights by Airline
Airline search supports carriers from around the world. Enter the airline name or code, then use the available live and schedule information to find the flight you need.
AAUADLB6EKQRBALHTKACAIPKLive Flight Status, Schedules and Delays
Live tracking and airport schedules answer different questions. A live flight tracker focuses on aircraft that are currently operating, while schedules cover planned and airport timetable information.
Live Flight Tracking
Live tracking can include aircraft position, altitude, direction, route, registration and current status when those data points are available for the flight.
Airport Arrivals and Departures
Airport timetable data can show scheduled, estimated and actual times, plus terminal, gate, baggage and delay information where available.
Why a Flight May Not Appear on the Map
A scheduled flight may not yet be airborne, may already have landed, or may not have a current position feed. Its timetable or status data can still be available.
Why Airport Delays Change
Weather, air traffic restrictions, congestion, aircraft rotation and operational issues can change departure and arrival estimates during the day.
Flight Tracker FAQs
How can I track a flight by flight number?
Open Flight Number mode, enter the full flight number such as EK202 or select the airline and enter only the numeric part. Then run the search to view the latest available flight data.
Can I check airport arrivals and departures?
Yes. Open Airport mode, search the airport by name, city or IATA code, then choose Arrivals or Departures. Arrivals are selected by default.
Can I search flights by route?
Yes. Route mode lets you select a departure airport, arrival airport and date to look for available flights on that route.
Can I track JetBlue, American, United or Delta flights?
Yes. Use Airline mode or Flight Number mode. Search the airline by name or IATA code, then select the relevant flight.
Does the live map update in real time?
The map uses the latest available aircraft position data. Position feeds refresh at intervals, so it should be treated as near-real-time rather than a second-by-second cockpit feed.
Why is my flight not showing a live position?
The flight may not be airborne yet, may have landed, may be outside available position coverage, or may only have schedule data at that moment.
Can I see flight delays?
When delay data is available, the tracker or airport board can show updated timing and status information. Airport-specific delay conditions can change throughout the day.
Can I search worldwide airports and airlines?
Yes. The tool is designed for worldwide airport and airline coverage, with autocomplete to help select the correct airport or carrier.
