Liquids, Aerosols & Gels

Each item must not exceed 100ml, and the total can’t exceed one litre. Exemptions apply for medication, baby milk or food, and special dietary requirements. Pack items inside one transparent, re-sealable plastic bag.

Standard size is up to 21 × 24 × 11 inches. Available 24/7 — Terminal 1: dnata Baggage Services, Arrival level; Terminal 3: Emirates Left Luggage, Arrival level near Exit 1.

Baggage Delivery (Emirates)

Emirates offers a delivery service for bags within the UAE. Up to four bags cost AED 200–250 depending on delivery location, with additional bags at AED 10 each. Book at the Terminal 3 Arrivals baggage counter near Exit 1, or call +971 4 214 4433.

Porters & Trolleys

Trolleys are free of charge across DXB and DWC. Porter charges for a regular trolley start from AED 30 at Terminal 1, 2, and DWC (increasing with time), and AED 40 (or AED 100 for a flat-bed trolley) at Terminal 3.

Oversized Baggage

Bags larger than 90cm long, 75cm high, and 60cm wide, or without a single flat surface, must be checked in at the airline counter and then dropped at the oversized baggage counter — allow extra time.

Security Note

Airport security has the authority to open bags to identify and remove suspiciously packaged or prohibited items without the guest present, even for checked baggage.
